Christmas-Fruitcake-Biscotti.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
  • 1⁄2 cup sugar
  • 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup chopped glace mixed candied fruit, plus more for top of loaf
  • ¼ cup confectioner’s sugar.
